Photo 1: The mood of this image seems sad, lonely and that the girl is wondering. I think this because the girl is looking down and has her head resting on her hand. Sometimes when people think hard they tend to rest their head on their hands. Also, her face expression is sad looking. Her eyes are looking down and she's not smiling. Its almost as if she doesn't want to face something. Kind of like she doesn't want look at the person or the thing that is making her sad. Also, if you look at her body language she seems very down very blah feeling. She's leaning up against the railing like she can't hold herself up. I think the photographer is saying how this girl is sad and feels lonely. Also, that she is thinking about these feelings. The emotion that this photo evokes inside of me is loneliness and sadness. This is because the girl looks so sad with her head on her hand and she's looking down. Her facial expression looks so sad she not even smiling. The lighting in this image is dark with very little light shinning on her left shoulder. The dark lighting makes the photo give off that dark, sadness feeling. The girl is placed in the middle of the photo which draws us to her and shows us that she is the subject or focal point of this picture. The railing bars help the viewer eyes look all of the picture. The railing lines go right off the page so it makes the viewers eyes follow those lines and look over the whole image. Also the vertical lines lead you into the whole picture towards the girl. Leads you from the foreground to the background. The picture has shapes in it. The squares and rectangles on the door in the background and the railings form a triangle with the edge of the photo. On the bottom of the photo you can almost see the texture of the concrete. There are cracks in it and it demonstrates texture. The photographer used value by making it black and white which helped technically develop and emphasize the mood of the photo. (sadness and loneliness) This is a significant photo because it uses many of the principles and the elements of art. Through using these elements the photographer conveyed the story and the mood of the photo.

Photo 2: The mood of this picture seems to be hunger and sadness. I think this because they seem to be dirty looking and they baby looks a little on the skinny side. The story I think that the photographer is trying to tell is that these two people have little money and that this is reality. That there are people out there that are less fortunate than others. This picture is capturing reality and is trying to show the viewer that not everyone has good money and some people struggle and this is the reality of the world. The emotion that was evoked in me when I saw this picture was wonderment and sadness. I wondered what these people have gone through and I wonder what their story is. I wonder if that is the little child's grandmother or it is his mother. If it's the child's grandmother what happened to the child's parents and how did they get to where they are today. The people are placed in the middle of the picture but a little off to the right and in the foreground. I think this technically conveys the meaning and the mood of the picture by making the viewer focus on the people and look at their mood. I think they are a little off centered because their life is a little off centered. The texture of the women's skin shows that she is an older women and that she is kind of dirty. This can help show that she probably doesn't live in the best living conditions. The background also helps emphasize this. The background has great texture. The texture shows that its dirt and that the ground is dry. This connects to how the people look and the story of the image. The background has lots of space and it keeps the viewer of this image drawn to the people. The value used in this image also helps tell the story and show the mood of this image. This image is significant because all the elements and principles used in this photo helps the viewer get the mood and the story of the image. It was veery well taken. The use of every element helped enrich the photo.

Photo 3: The mood of this image is almost every day life. Meaning a little busy, and a purpose with a sense of adventure. I think the photographer is trying to say that life can have adventure and that everyones life is different. Some don't live in the best communities and some do. The motion that was evoked inside of me when I looked at this picture was wonderment and adventure. Also I got this sense of little money. I got the sense of wonderment because I looked at the people in the foreground and thought, "What are they doing? Where are they going and where did they come from?" I got the sense of adventure because these people look like they are going to go out and have fun. Also, as I follow the road into the picture (leading lines and low depth) I get this sense of curiosity and adventure. I want to know where this road leads to and what lies behind it. This picture shows movement by the people walking across the street and the truck and the cars in the background moving. The image also has leading lines .The driving lanes and yellow lines on the road lead the viewer into the picture. This also gives the picture sense of depth or low depth. This is because the foreground is in focus and as you follow the street into the picture the rest of the image starts to become blurry and out of focus. Also the image uses repetition or pattern. The repetition of street lights and buildings also help lead you into the picture. By placing or having the buildings on the sides of the image help keep the viewers eyes from not leading off the picture. The significance of this image is the elements and principles helped the image by keeping the viewers eyes on the picture. Also the viewer can connect to this photo in a way because it everyday life.

Photo 4: The mood of this image is happy and almost kind of playful or kidding like. I think the story of this photo is that this women is happy and that she was joking around with someone and gave them that look like, "Mhm I told you so. Don't you think you should of listened?" The emotion that was evoked inside of me when i saw this was happiness, laughter, and sadness. It made me happy because it made me remember my childhood where I would do something that my Meme (grandma in french well actually old lady) told me not to do and when I did it and realized she was right, she'd give me this smirk like, "I told you so. I think you won't do that ever again," kind of look. It brings laughter to me because it reminds me of another time with my Meme where we caught her in a lie and ratted her out. She couldn't help but give me and my cousin this look like we should no better than to rat her out and it was kind of a playful look too. She also gave me this look when I'd beat her at gold fish again and again and rub it in her face. It bring sadness to me because I miss my Meme and this women looks like her a little. The photographer put this women in the middle of the picture to make this women the focal point and let the viewer know that she is the subject of this image. Also, the photo has great texture. Its almost like you could reach your hand out and touch this women's hair and it would be soft. The texture of this image also helps bring out the wrinkles in this women's face and help bring out her smirk. The significance of this photo is that anyone can connect to this and can feel that happiness, playful and kidding look being given. The use of the principles and the elements help bring these emotions out.

Photo 5: The mood of this image is wonderment, sadness and kind of creepy. I think the story the photographer is trying to say is that there is might be another place after we die. Also, I think he's trying to say that everyone thinks about there death and wonders if there is an after place. When I looked at the photo the emotions that got evoked inside of me was wonderment. I wondered about there actually being an after place and how many people think about their deaths. Also, I wondered how many people actually picture their own death or imagine what might happen to them. Another thing I wondered was if people who have had an out of body experience, if they actually see their body and I wonder what they think. The photographer placed the dead body on the left side of the picture leading off the print. I think this because you can still get the full meaning of this picture without seeing the full body and I think that it helps the viewer look over the small part of the body. The man looking down on the dead person which is actually himself dead. He is wearing black and I think that helps represent death. When people go to wakes they typically wear black. The light shining down a little on the dead man represents going into the light. The significance of this photo is that people can connect to it and it gets people wondering about death and religion and their own death.
